I’m Afroditi Loukakou, graduated Dietitian-Nutritionist from Harokopio University with a postgraduate degree in Nutrigenetics and the head director of “Scientific Centre of Dietetics and Nutrition”.
Our philosophy is based on three basic elements: Motivation, Decision, Change
It’s a fact that we live in an environment that promotes overeating, fast and processed food. Therefore, we often get easily carried away with an overconsumption that leads to weight gain. That may be a result of many other factors, such as sedentary life, deficiency of regular activity, health problems, medication, psychology, stress.
We understand that every case is completely different and it would be unfair to compare ourselves to someone else.
Initially, we have to find the motivation for willing to improve our eating habits, to change our appearance, to control health routine, to be relieved from overweight related pain, to improve our sleep or just to psychologically feel better.
Whichever the motivation might be, it’s acceptable when it impels us to improve our habits. So, the motivation is what leads us to make the decision of change and turn to an expert.
Motivation and decision are what we need to help you come to a result. What describes us is that we always work with empathy, having total awareness of the difficulty that everybody confronts when is determined to change their habits. Support and guidance are certain at the same time nutritional guidelines are always recommended. Success for us is not only the change, but also the higher possibilities to maintain this change and that’s why, in our centre, we always work aiming at this particular goal.
